BillFin integrates with Redtail so that addresses can be synced into BillFin.  BillFin clients have to be assigned an Invoice Recipient Code in order to sync or upload addresses.  This Invoice Recipient Code for your clients in BillFin needs to be the Redtail ContactID so it can match Redtail addresses to your BillFin clients.  We are happy to help assign your clients their Redtail IDs but we are incapable of getting them on our own.  I have provided steps below for getting a report of your clients and their Redtail ContactIDs in Redtail.  The steps may or may not work, depending on your version of Redtail.  If these steps don't work, please reach out to Redtail for help with this report and let them know that you need your Redtail contacts' unique Redtail identifiers, the ContactID for every contact, so that you can sync addresses with BillFin.  Once you send us that report we can help you further.

Login to Redtail

Click on Reports

This page allows you to add columns to the table

In the top left of the table there is a button with a grid icon next to an export button

Click on the grid icon and ensure “Contact” and “ContactID” are checked and export that

-That is what we need to add your addresses in BillFin. No other columns are crucial but AccountNum would probably be beneficial.
